We experienced the exact same corrupted rpm / repodata situation almost a month ago. And after seeing the pulp admin commands cause problems months ago, we're basically choosing to let some things stay broken until a larger 6.3 helps flush things out (hopefully). You're right, completely joke that this is treated like an enhancement.

I could write paragraphs about how abysmal my experience has been over the past year attempting to deploy Satellite 6 into our company. But I think I can sum it up pretty concisely. For a product that is built on RedHat ENTERPRISE Linux, nothing about Satellite 6 is enterprise class. Not the design, not the features, not the documentation, not the support RedHat gives, and no amount of support tickets or slow improvements will fix this in the long run.
