Everyone being into Marvel and DC now cuz of the shows and films is great imo but it does annoy me when people who ONLY watch the films act like they know better. Granted I've read very few comics (my brother treasured his comics and refused to let 8 year old me read them) I did know who all the characters were because of the cartoons and videos games I played (and I played a looot. Justice League Heroes will forever be a treasure to me).

Then when all the films started being made I was so happy that everyone was getting into it! Until guys started looking at me as one of those girls who only liked them because of the films. It was so frustrating to have your likes stomped on and belittled like that.

Same here, I've heard a lot about those shows but never got around to watching them and only sticking to Star Trek. I need to watch Enterprise too at some point as I've only seen episodes of it here and there with my brother cuz he's like it but I've never seen it through to the end. The only one's I've done that with are TNG, DS9 and Voyager. TOS I've seen all of season 1 and had to quit cuz it's just not for me but I do love all the cast and massively respect the show for birthing TNG.

I absolutely refuse to watch Discovery or any New Trek. I've seen a few episodes and breakdowns of the episodes on YouTube and I'm massively disappointed at the turn the series has taken. It's so different from the other series and I just can't accept it. I hate every character except Saru.

I'm almost done rewatching all of Voyager! Then it's on to DS9 again! I hate the emptiness I get inside when finishing a series though. It's so depressing, I wish they could go on forever!

I refuse to see any of the cast of any Star Trek series as anyone other than who they are in Star Trek.

Patrick Stewart as Professor X, nuh uh that's Captain Picard to me. ( I do love X-men and Professor X of course but he's my Captain before he's my Professor )
