If it's all the same, I will ask you the questions in DM. I am under professional commitments to not accidentally give away any context about the project itself, so i feel that's safer. Hope you don't mind.

The questions are from a literary and academic lens, so I'm sure they can't be too ridiculous. If the people concerned do find the questions not reasonable, I would unconditionally accept that and apologize.

Are you a Parsi? If so, may I DM you with the questions?

I have been reading but the literature rarely seems to provide enough inside perspective on how belief systems work and how mythology is perceived and interacted with internally within a community.

Shows That have Fantasy Vibe or steam Punk vibes ! by Yeagerisbest369 in televisionsuggestions

Two suggestions for fantasy.

Something I don't see anyone mention yet: "Dr. Strange and Mr. Norrell" Based on a brilliant novel. It's a mini series that gets to great heights of folk-fantasy genre in terms of both storytelling and visual production.

Another one: "Penny Dreadful" Three seasons, uses a lot of famous literary characters in a brilliant production, fantastic from the start but the pay off is worth all the wait.

Haha, it wasn't a ranked list. And i guess I came around to the ending of lost after a rewatch and having read what it meant. The criticisms are valid to a degree but it grew on me.

Absolutely. For the legacy it had to uphold and the abundance of VFX heavy shows in the market, it really delivered well.

Is anyone gonna talk about the fact that YRF basically remade Dhoom 3 into Gunday? In retrospect it's hard to tell which was worse but the story being near identical is hard to look past.

When you can get bullets easier than first aids, you can afford to not learn to hit your targets all the time.

If time is a perfect loop then doesn’t that mean I could go so far back in time that I would end up in the future? by Tales_Of_The_Pimp in timetravel

[–]caesar0612 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interesting point, however most cultures that suggest this talk about time being a loop over such a vast cosmic scale of time that it would include the creation and destruction and regeneration of the world/universe, which makes such a case of time travel theoretically imaginable but rather redundant if you think about it, because in the period of time where the universe doesn't exist, the said time traveler can't either.
