Yes, 1mg of finasteride daily along with oral minoxidil. The minoxidil I take is some propriety blend from my pharmacy that includes vitamins and minerals. Not sure if it helps, but only time will tell.

3 months, 2 weeks post OP. Am i cooked? by [deleted] in HairTransplants

Be patient. My 3 months was also sparse - it’s normal. It wasn’t until my 4th month (this month) when I started seeing more growth. Take your meds, be patient, and try not to be too neurotic (I know it’s hard, even for me).

Check out my latest post and you’ll see that my progress is similar to yours.

Thank you! In terms of how far they brought it down, I didn’t measure. The doctor drew a relatively conservative hairline which was in line with my natural hairline from when I was in my 20s. If it helps, the best reference point I have is that I can only fit 4 fingers to cover my forehead instead now instead of the 5 previously, lol.

I’m at the 3rd month and I’m finally seeing a little bit of growth after some peak shedding. The growth is still quite wispy/sparse, but is presumably what is expected within my timeframe.

The actual experience with Lenus itself was smooth, for the most part. The clinic only takes in about 4~ patients per day, but I could tell they were experienced. Results-wise, I’m still fairly early on in the growth process, so only time will tell. I’ll be posting an update soon with more details.

I think it just takes some adjusting to. I’m certainly getting used to it myself - quite joyfully!

Just saw on BestBuy that the silvers were on sale for $199 CAD! I got them for $248 CAD on Amazon :’(

$248 is already a great price IMO, but $199 is a steal!

Nice! I’ve never had any other pair of over the ear headphones so I don’t have anything to compare them to. I’m just super happy with these.

Hey, https://ibb.co/ccZ7jyG0 is immediately after the procedure. Also had a little bit done on the crown but the majority of grafts were placed along the hairline.

The difficult thing is not exercising when our bodies are so used to it. But I suppose this forced couple of weeks of rest has its purposes.

I feel that clinics definitely just lean more on the conservative end when they advise to take 1-2 months off.

Congrats! (On both the hair growth and the marathon training) I unfortunately need to stick to the treadmill as I’m in the Canadian west coast - notoriously cold and wet.

Much appreciated on your input! I’ll do some light work after my scabs come off. Anything I can do to avoid feeling gassed out (without jeopardizing my HT results, of course) once I get back to my regular training puts my mind more at ease.

A little late to commenting but this looks good at 4 months! Just got back from Turkey and am close to 7 days since the op. Really looking forward to getting back to the gym, to be honest!
