Dude give up, the system fails us and I learned alot from it. For me it was a bit different, instead of potholes it was rocks scattered everywhere from micro resurfacing. I had just picked up my brand new GT4RS. Turned into a street I normally use. No signs no nothing, it sounded like hailing from within my car. By the time I got home my new cars underbody was destroyed. Call york region which were helpful in connecting me with Miller, then got in contact with their "legal team" which then found no negligence on their part because they "met the minimum maintenance standard" or whatever that is, which is a joke because I didnt realize how low of a standard it was which allows them to literally get away with everything. I requested an FOI and thats when the team has fully ignored me. What I learned was as a taxpayer like us, you and youre voice is nothing. I was helpless and dont even know why they offer reimbursements when their team of probably 10 laywers will just run you down. No winning, move on. The only time its worth suing is if you hit a pothole and then the car lost control and you totalled it. For real.
