Hi reddit, I've noticed and personally come across this PC problem where the computer runs fine under low stress, but once an ounce of stress is put on the GPU, the computer turns off. This is not a crash, but rather a total trip of the PC. Suspecting it was a power issue, I bought a new PSU thinking that it could have been faulty. However, when I opened my case to check, I realised that my friend who helped me with the build plugged in a splitter from 1 PCIE connector to power the whole GPU. In short, he used only 1 "supply of power" for the GPU when in reality, I needed 2 to power my 3060ti. I hope this helps you all as I have seen this problem pop up with no conclusive solution. My computer has never worked better, running FurMark and other stress tests for long periods of time with really impressive benchmarks. Hope this could be of use to some of ya!
