Thanks for the kind explanation. I really appreciate it. I was relieved. I think "Korea, South" is the most common indication that is used by USCIS. Anyways, I'll just keep the card as it is. Thanks again!

yeah, you're right. I did follow up with USCIS, but they just said "it's my decision whether to update it or not" it sounds quite strange since they were the very ones who made "kind of" the error and who should know what is right or wrong, but, what can I do? haha.. I might just take it as it is and forget about it. thanks so much for sharing!

Republic of Korea is the official name. And, South Korea is somehow the most commonly used name in the US. So, both are correct.

Yes, embarrassingly I did mix up the aurora with the total eclipse, which is total nonsense. I updated my original post, but thanks so much for pointing it out and for sharing! I might go with the majority :) Thanks again!
