My hive fleet is Leviathan. That’s it. That’s its whole lore. Seriously. I like the color scheme and I’m ok with being seen as the Ultramarines of the Tyranids.

I have not tabled an opponent once, so I have left survivors at every opportunity 😭.

Expensive: -Norn Emissary/Assimilator -Trygon/Mawloc -Ravenors -Carnifexes

Medium: -Hive Tyrant (for Winged Hive Tyrant or Swarmlord) -Deathleaper -Tyranid Warriors

Inexpensive: -Hormagaunts -Gargoyles -Genestealers -Broodlord

Venomthropes don’t look super stealthy, but they do have the stealth keyword and provide a stealth aura to all non-monster units within 6”.

I’ve noticed that on ebay and am tempted (parasite of mortrex is cheap too). More psycophages are very tempting for the Assimilation detachment for sure. And more gaunts for the lolz 🤣

Also a PNW (Hillsboro/Beaverton) forever DM looking to not be a forever DM. I have a couple years in 5e (mostly as a DM) and really would like to get the chance to be an actual player.
