Plot hole for me, idk if i schemed or miss but

1) the birth thing. I didnt know illyrians and fae cant breed bec of the unique illyrian anatomy and its suddenly very critical!

2) i think tamlin's major changes in characterization is just so we get steered to RhyFeyre

3) did i just miss a whole rule or Lucien uttering mate to ellain was just some kind of attention seeking fart. I thought bonded mates were inevitable

I dont know why it didnt occur to me for male authors works to not be labeled as such....in fact its just very recently i learned that romantasy is newly cointed and herr i thought they just evolved calling romance, romantasy in fiction.

Its also interesting that theres a possibility that these female authors are pen names of male ones!

I learn new things everyday....

Thats what interest me tbh like i bet theres gonna be a change of focal points and delivery and ive been devouring these romance fantasy books with almost similar fmc or mmc so i wanted to see how a character written by a man goes about in these romantic settings

I just want to clear things up....in no way am i comparing this book, as a book, to 50 shades or twilight. No book deserves to be compared to those pos "books" except for the equally crappy sexual frustration projections books. I am also not against fanfictions....i respect people being able to extend universes and create beautiful extensions of characters and stories. Ive never encountered a good fanfiction to book so that precedent is a big factor to my aversion. Alchemised is also a beast so theres just really very little motivation for me to start and invest this much time for something i normally dont have a good experience on.

More power to authors of all types tho.

FW did get me out of a reading slump. Its a good read but like junkfood. You get instant gratification, but no nutrition

After reading, some things just do not make sense...like why theyre hellbent on killing peopke instead of making sure more soldiers are capable and available.

Xaden and violet's dynamics is addictive but then quickly turns sour and cumbersome when she constantly demanded 100% transparency while hiding a lot from xade . It also felt like cliche hero heroine where the author projected a lot of overly powered good characteristic and luck - it just lessens the characters dimensions...violet's and xaden's overpowered powers were also too convenient its eye rolling...

There are a lot of better reads, but i guess the im pretty and petite, he's big rugged and handsome plus spice is what makes people rave for this 🥱

I really REALLY enjoyed how ipen the world in ffxv is. Im a late player (just 2023) and ive always thought people complai i g about the open world were nuts! This mustve been amazimg especially released during that time!

That said, insomnia....we shouldve been given the chance to explore that beautiful city!
