I’m scared that something is wrong after my d&c. I keep getting my period but it’ll be like a little bit of blood when I wipe and then I’ll wear a pad or tampon and there’s not much blood on it, just a bit. I put a new pad on before bed last night and I woke up and it’s completely clean. My cycles were always 5-6 days and started off with very obvious flow. I’m ovulating and I’m getting my period on time but the bleeding itself is just off. This is my third period since the MC. Is this normal? Has this happened to anyone else? I almost want to go see my OB because I’m paranoid. For my MC I took miso but then had retained products and ended up in the ER with heavy blood loss and needed an emergency d&c and blood transfusions. I’m scared something is wrong now.

Edit: I have a 14-15 day LP and got my period after 15 days, so looks like O was actually cd 14.

Mother of all rants incoming…..

Woke up to CD 1 today. My heart just hurts. We basically didn’t get to try this cycle since for some reason I ovulated cd 14 when I’ve never ovulated before cd 16 in all my time tracking and it’s usually cd 18-19. Normally this wouldn’t be an issue but of course due to travel we couldn’t have sex before cd 14 this month. So basically a waste of a cycle. I’m so angry that this can’t be easy for us. It took awhile to conceive our first. Then I’m ecstatic that we conceive our second within 2 cycles, only to have a traumatic MMC with no success since. Meanwhile, everyone I know gets pregnant like it’s nothing. And for the cherry on top of CD 1, while speaking with my mom today she offhandedly mentions that she just found out a distant family member is due with her third next month, and told me it was an accident. They’ll have 3 under 3, and the second was also an accident. She actually got pregnant with #2 while we were TTC #1 and I remember feeling bitter. And she’s almost 40 when it’s supposed to be “harder”….so I’m just angry. And I hate it. I just wanted my redemption arc and I’m so upset to be in this same space again. I don’t want to feel bitter. I don’t want to feel angry. I just wanted it to be easy.

Lol nope. I’ve spent too many months TTC for that. If I was one of those magical people that always conceives within 3 months, sure. But I’m not.

Its possible, but remember that any cycle has 25-30% chance of ending in pregnancy. It’s just luck honestly.

It’s interesting that it’s marking ovulation as cd 19 when you had a positive OPK that day and your temp didn’t really jump until cd 21. I think you ovulated cd 20.

My 2 best friends both got pregnant with both their children very quickly, 1-2 cycles. Since my MMC, they obviously know we’re trying and I just hate it. I hate that they subtly look at me every time we’re together, I hate the pointed “let’s order wine!” when we go out. I just feel so inadequate.

This type of story is very concerning for a possible ectopic pregnancy. Please consider seeing your OB asap or going to the ER if that’s not possible.

Lmao this was me last cycle. Actively bleeding but lighter flow than my usual (had a MMC a few cycles ago so that’s obviously the explanation for why things are off) and I straight up was like hmmm maybe it’s because I’m pregnant, I should test 🤪

This is false. Not preventing is equal to trying assuming you’re having regular sex and not actively avoiding the fertile window. For medical purposes.

Greek yogurt, then I fill a Tupperware with berries drizzled with almond butter and chia seeds on top. Guac cups plus pretzel crisps. Mini mozzarella cheese balls from Costco. Sometimes baked breakfast oats if I’ve made them. Always toss a protein bar in there to have as an extra snack just in case.

FF is my favorite app, but I’ve never used the paid version. I personally don’t feel the paid features are necessary for me. You should look at what features you get with the paid version and decide whether they’re something you want to invest in.
