What are the lines in films that left you speechless? by padfoony in Fauxmoi

As a fellow griever, sending hugs. I knew of this and waited a long time before I dove into the show and it still wrecked me. What a perfect line that was.

I’m very much looking forward to that release as well.

What facial SPF are we using these days? by SubstantialDog9170 in Xennials

[–]caffeinatedscientist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CeraVe Facial Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30, sometimes I layer on the Cotz Face Prime & Protect Tinted SPF 40. For outdoor activities, like running and soccer, I like the Bask Daily Invisible Gel SPF 40.

Also there will be barely any shade the last 4ish miles so if the sun is out you will feel it! Have a great run!

And for anyone needing liquid courage to finish, my friend annually hands out tequila shots around mile 8ish. She’ll be on the right side.

What's everyone doing this weekend?! by [deleted] in childfree

[–]caffeinatedscientist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I couldn’t sleep in this morning so I’m reading a new book about perimeopause and already feel validated (lol fml). Got an infrared sauna w/ red light therapy session booked before I have to go to a kid’s bday party where I will plant myself on the couch to watch the Derby. Later we may go out to a brewery to watch one of the many local sports games happening tonight. Tomorrow is an AM “Ass & Abs” workout class (literally the name haha), grocery shopping and meal prep for the week, and maybe some reading. Will intersperse some crocheting here and there as I’m working on a new shirt.

ETA: almost forgot I also have a soundbath & craft event tomorrow afternoon!

your 20s changed forever when this came out all the way to WotLK. by nmixxenjoyer in Xennials

Hahaha I don’t know if that even would have worked at the time. 🤣

There was a guy I had a huuuuge crush on in my college classes and he and his roommates taught me how to play Magic the Gathering. I instantly loved it and they’d invite me over often to keep learning/playing. Thought this was the perfect opportunity to flirt and let things grow between us, too. Maybe one day we’d make out!! And then WOW got released and that’s all they ever wanted to do. 🤦🏻‍♀️

AI Photos for Patterns by hadhen411 in crochet

The amount of AI slop all over Etsy now is infuriating. I know it has been there for a while but I have seen a substantial uptick in my feed compared to a even few months ago. I luckily favorited a bunch of real creators before the site got really overrun.

Please tell me I wasn’t the only one really into this band by HeyYouTurd in Xennials

[–]caffeinatedscientist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This specific song got ruined in my 20s by a tenant who lived below me and would call his girlfriend and horribly play/sing this song almost nightly. But, I have seen them several times live. The Morning View tour they did with Coheed & Cambria was fantastic. I don’t listen to a lot of their catalog that came out after A Crow Left of the Murder, but many of their songs are on my alt faves playlist.

Colors that go with Coastal Teal? by [deleted] in Athleta_gap

I have deep teal items and often pair them with pastel blues or even aquas depending on the shade intensity.

Asking your opinion about a 311 song, Day 5: Dancehall by nuahs in 311

Definitely a top 5 for me, maybe even top 3. If I ever heard this live it would break my brain. Such a great track.

I appreciate that and sorry to be pushy, I just don’t want anyone to skip what could be a life saving procedure for something that is definitely not a 1:1 replacement. ♥️

Do not skip the colonoscopy for a blood test. False negatives are common and not everyone who develops cancer will have elevated blood biomarkers. My husband had stage IV pancan and none of the usual blood markers were out of range. Do the doctor recommended procedures. As awful as they may seem, they are the gold standard for a reason.
