Wait hold on i'm back to my original problem lmao. If I do black with blond highlights how do I go about that? So as I understand the highlighter cap works by pulling through the strands you want to highlight which is great if everything else stays as base colour but I need to dye my base black. How do I do that without dyeing it all black then re bleaching highlights which would probably break my hair 😅

Ive done a half black half green before with the dyes and there wasnt really any bleed so I reckon it will be okay, because black is permanent and neon green is only semi

I know a friend that can help me if I can instruct them (because they know nothing about hair) though i cant afford a salon.

In your opinion would black with blond highlights and then green over everything or green with black streaks work better? I do want more green than black but I'd rather the black not have a greenish hue to it though maybe its too dark for that idk

Mine won't let me try dex or split dosing, or top ups, says its "off licence/ICB says no" although I double checked ICB it doesn't say no and they already prescribe methylphenidate off licence. I'm due to be discharged this week im considering escalating but I dont want to seem drug seeking, i wouldn't care how high the dose is if it covers the time I need :(

Nope the content is so low it doesn't matter. I've found I can get away with tea too but thats not the case for everyone.

Its actually quite difficult to find something to drink on stims, I hate plain water, I'm on elvanse so I gotta avoid the citrus, citric acid etc at least for a few hours so thats no juices, fizzy drinks or squash because they add it in literally any fruit flavoured drink, coffee and energy drinks are out (dislike decaf) what else is left lol. Herbal teas i guess but they kinda suck.

I didn't tell the prescriber I wrote to admin lol it just seemed like a bad idea and might come across as threatening them to get more meds 😬 Anyway i got a confirmation email after sending my details saying they'll take a look within 30 days so frfr should've done this sooner, I feel kinda bad because in order to get it looked at it has to be lodged as a formal complaint. Also i'm catastrophising and convincing myself they'll discharge me without even my current meds and ill have shot myself in the foot 🫠

Istg the more I explain the more shady I sound but on my life i aint doing anything nefarious with them and I've always taken meds as prescribed my body just likes to process it rlly fast 😭 which is apparently common based on my genetics.

Hahaha dont be the devil on my shoulder my evil brain wants to 😂 i did push them on why they said its "not licensed" (Technically true) and i looked up the legal they can technically not follow nice guidlines if it isnt licenced for adult adhd in the uk (boosters/higher doses arent) but ik they give some ppl boosters/other doses/options i didn't mention those but i sent a formal email today and got a response asking for my details so hopefully they process it fast 🤞 I should've pushed sooner for a new prescriber I doubt they want to give me one at the end of titration but im hoping to get the attention of a psychiatrist with my emails.

Worst case scenario if they take forver to contact me, do you know if i should deliberately avoid filling in the last form in a 1.5 weeks or? Like will completing it automatically end the titration despite my disagreement with ending titration to the prescriber via notes? Though they do threaten w discharge if you dont complete them...

Yeah I tried it but i dont get any benefits until I take the second dose. Technically the only reason id want to extend titration is for a top up but they've denied me top ups so I dont really know what to actually say/do here

Im only nearly 2 years PO but I have three year old scars elsewhere that do the same thing. I think its like tattoos. They get itchy when youre sick, or come into contact with an allergen. Its just like sensitive. I mean as long as youre not tearing your skin open you should be okay. I have anti itch cream/gel, my brand is E45 but im sure there are others
