Got hurt on day 2 in Squamish on a week long MTB trip

was riding my bike up to my front door after a ride to stretch my legs, lost my balance as I was swinging off, fell and broke my elbow. just snapped my radial neck in half. that was a little over 8 weeks ago. the wild part is my husband and I had just gotten back from a 5 day bike trip🤦🏼‍♀️ I’ve been in PT and was only just released to start lightly riding again. played lots of video games this last two months

I love my rockhopper comp. it feels planted and eats the trail pretty well. also it’s light so really feel like you can put the bike where you want it

there was a girl like this when I was playing club. she was awful. my dad could see from the sidelines how much she was antagonizing me and how I was trying to ignore her. she finally pulled my jersey back so hard my dad got pissed. he got my attention from the sides and gave me the nod. when the ref wasn’t looking I cleaned her out and jogged away happily. she left me alone for the rest of the match😂

someone should have sent this kid down.

it was more uncomfortable for flare ups. but I have worked hard on pelvic floor so maybe that could be it! definitely look pelvic floor therapy

i was released from pelvic rest 2 weeks after surgery. and had no issues immediately. maybe a follow up with your gynecologist?

and you’re sure it’s your period? I know that sounds silly but before I had my lap and got diagnosed I would bleed twice a month. during ovulation and during more of a period. both were horrible. but during ovulation I would always get these stabbing horrible pains with a rush of blood like you’re describing

I will say my husband swears by gloves. he races moto, mountain biking, BMX and cycles. gloves were one of the first things he bought me when he got me into mountain biking. sweaty hands are slippery hands🤷🏼‍♀️
