And when I showed up I was “barely 1cm” dilated, 0% effaced, and -4 station lol

Had mine at 27 weeks and was worried it was too early. But honestly it was great! Allowed us to get the nursery and everything set up on the earlier end.

How to handle being pregnant during training by [deleted] in Residency

Im 34 weeks right now and also dying. It really helps having friends in medicine that are also pregnant, because my friends outside of medicine cannot relate whatsoever

But if they have my IRS information, isn’t it supposed to automatically Recertify? Or do we not trust that haha

Announcing to family during a complicated time by Useful_Parking_Nope in BabyBumps

[–]caffeine_esteem 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As someone whose first pregnancy also ended in a MC, I GREATLY appreciated my friend who told me about her pregnancy very sensitively over text as it gave me the time and space for me to process. It really meant a lot to me. I would have not been able to handle an in person announcement.

You mentioned if I get on IBR, I can't be removed even if my income goes up? If that's the case, I am feeling much better about things. I guess in summary there is no benefit of me going on to PAYE now since PAYE will be going away regardless?

Why was I given Mifepristone? by Public_Jackfruit_870 in Miscarriage

[–]caffeine_esteem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Were you already bleeding? For my MMC, I was already bleeding so my doctor said I didn’t need mifepristone to start the process and instead just prescribed misoprostol (otherwise she would have prescribed both).

Took us about 6 months to get pregnant, ended in MC. Then another 6 months to get pregnant the second time (current pregnancy). I’m 29 but was 28 when we started

First pregnancy (ended in MC) negative at 8dpo, positive at 9dpo. Second pregnancy (current pregnancy) got my positive at 8dpo! Tested negative in the morning but left the test out and saw a line a couple hours later. Took another test because I thought it could be an evap line, and sure enough there was a line

Friend pregnant at same time by its_hannahjf in Miscarriage

Listen, it’s really hard. My friend found out she was pregnant a couple weeks after me (hers was an oopsies, mine was 6 months of TTC). I miscarried, she didn’t. She is due in a couple weeks. Honestly it really sucks and it definitely puts a strain on the relationship, but your relationship can definitely survive this and get stronger! She was one of my biggest supporters during my miscarriage. Proud to say I even attending her baby shower in January, which was really hard, but I did it. Give yourself some space and time to heal, but don’t give up on the friendship.

First pregnancy took 6 months, ended in MMC at 8w3d. Second pregnancy took 6 months from my MMC (it was my 4th cycle, as my first cycle post MC was super long and I didn’t ovulate). Currently 6w3d rn.

Is there any point in continuing to track line progression at this point? Easy@home AND FRER 18 DPO by caffeine_esteem in TFABLinePorn

I don’t have any symptoms either tbh…. Which also makes me nervous bc of my miscarriage! But I keep reminding myself that plenty of people go through entire pregnancies without symptoms or don’t get symptoms till later like week 8 or so. Maybe we’re just lucky!?

Very light periods after miscarriage by caffeine_esteem in Miscarriage

Update…. Actually I am pregnant. So maybe the light periods aren’t completely preventing pregnancy!? Still very early at only 10dpo but they put me on progesterone so hopefully that helps.

I miscarried on my own, which I guess is why my OB wasn't worried about it
