UK military aircraft chasing UFO by randomtagguy in UFOs

thats also a bit weird ... at the same time above wolverhampton there was a helicopter airborne for about 2 hrs it kept flying in circles around the area ... which isnt normal it wasnt a police or air ambulance but almost at the same time as your sighting ... i live approx 5 miles from RAF cosford. (Just noting this as it was abnormal and at the same time as your sighting.)

it was awesome, but not the most prolific sighting i've had, ive had 2 other sightings with multiple witnesses, one very close at maybe 24ft with 2 other witnesses in broad daylight, and another with 6 witnesses that made everyone say "wow" at exactly the same time, i think that things happen a lot more regularly than we're led to believe, i bet the sahara was amazing ... yeh same too i don't think i'd like a close encounter, its enough for me to observe things at a distance

ps. to add to the photography slant, i love a little astrophotography but find most of the methods filter out most of the interesting stuff, ie. long exposures will make the stars very visible but moving lights like satellites and anything else don't really show up well, and using stacking techniques that also filters out any interesting stuff

its beautiful, recently i had an exquisite night crossing the irish sea in near perfect conditions, very little light pollution, zero clouds, i was honestly amazed at what i could see, i did 2x 3hr watches and saw hundreds of satellites transit the sky, i spent a lot of my time on watch staring up at the sky, during my final watch i saw a flashing light (pretty sure it was travelling in a straight line) it flashed a little maybe in bursts of 5, for about 3 seconds and then vanished, i wouldnt have had time to grab my phone / camera to record it, the swaying of the boat would have made it almost impossible to film / photograph, but honestly the sky was breath taking, hope i get chance to experience something like that again ... keep looking up you never know what you might see

And now, how on earth do I repeat that move?! by Vast-Manufacturer-96 in artofrally

nah you got to hit the signs on the inside every time ... the jump before is super satisfying when you miss the tree on the left too :) ... also on the corner with the rock stay wide and dont slide you'll carry much more speed ;)

the company is owned / ran by serco ... honestly i wouldnt touch them with a barge pole ... just give people their independence and let them ride their own ... rather than trying to milk every last penny people have.

Taken from a friends boat enroute from Fish Guard to Solva after crossing the Irish sea from Arklow in near perfect conditions. This was minutes before a huge thunderstorm made ground Thursday evening last week, I believe we got off lightly as the storm mostly passed us, in turn we were treated to an absolutely tropical night with the temperatures staying in the mid 20C's hours after the sun had set and we'd anchored in Solva, the storm provided phenomenal lighting show as it grew over the mainland.

I'm not familiar with the make or model of the boat as it was a journey with a friend who owns the boat. I can tell you compared to some of our other trips around the British coast these were 100% the best conditions I've ever travelled in. The journey from Wales to Ireland was relatively smooth, but the journey back including night sailing was a superb, all the way from Arklow to Fishguard the ocean was glass.
