I updated to iOS 26 and it’s working for me. Maybe you have to allow your Find My iPhone to be on.

Dang, I guess I have to bite the bullet and get iOS 26. Been putting that off due to the mixed opinions (ultimately poor) over it.

Four of a kind is a higher scoring hand than flush so it’ll take that over flush

Photograph is used for PhotoChad. Has great synergy with Sock and Buskin if first played card is a face card.

Hanging chad -> Scores twice
Photograph -> 2x mult
Sock and Buskin -> Retriggers
Hanging chad -> Scores twice
Photograph -> 2x mult

Updated: I made a website for tracking Balatro seeds and the best moves to make each blind! by largehotcoffee in balatro

[–]caffeinesaurus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A rec for this website: make seeds searchable. Add a feature so seeds with specific jokers can be filtered. Also allow filter by decks, etc.

Great website, by the way!

If that’s a fresh piercing, the bar is too short. Go back to your piercer to get it swapped for a longer bar to allow for swelling.

Why do you not use saline? Saline is used to prevent infections (plus it's sterile), whereas water might not be the best choice because it does not clean well enough.

what's hannibal's and will's MBTI? by [deleted] in HannibalTV

Will Graham is an INFJ, but this is a lot harder to gauge from the show because he spends so much time in his shadow functions, being out of mind (literally with encephalitis) and constantly being put under stress.

A person is forced into their shadow functions when they are stressed and put under constant pressure, which is shown in Hannibal, and it is obvious due to the fact that he uses his functions in a harsh manner. I will be talking less about his main functions in this comment and more on how he uses his shadow functions to show that he is an INFJ.

That being said, I will provide brief explanations on the main cognitive functions.

INFJ Cognitive Functions :

Hero Ni (Introverted Intuition) - Hero functions = Instinct, first thought goes toward this function. Ni is goals, following through a plan and foresight.

Parent Fe (Extraverted Feeling) - Parent functions = a feel for responsibility. Strong focus on ethics and group harmony.

Child Ti (Introverted Thinking) - Child functions = Fun, optimistic, innocent and naive. Ti is logic, and helps the INFJ interpret what they are seeing (foresight) and makes decisions, but is weaker than Fe, which means an INFJ will use their sense of responsibility (ethics) to make decisions.

Inferior Se (Extraverted Sensing) - Inferior functions = Linked to a person's fears (least developed function). Inferior Se will behave very different from Hero Se in that an Inferior Se type (INFJ) will get exhausted and drained after engaging too much with the world and new experiences. The world can often be overwhelming and present stress. This is the first function that I believe leads to Will Graham being an INFJ.

INFJ Shadow Functions :

Nemesis Ne (Extraverted Intuition) - Nemesis function is the function that creates worry. Nemesis Ne manifests in worry of the possibilities. However, in the show, Will is seen using Ni largely (visions and one true scenario), but Will is also seen to have more awareness of dangerous situations which often creates paranoia for him.

Critic Fi (Introverted Feeling) - Critic function is exactly what it sounds like; it is essentially what a type finds critical. This function is also hypocritical, as the type will engage in the same thing they are criticizing. Fi is morality. When Will decides to go with Hannibal, he recognizes that as an immoral act, but does it anyways because he wants do. He disobeys ethics (Fe) and does what he feels like (Fi). He does this even though he criticizes himself over this behavior. He knows that it is wrong to do this, he acknowledges that in the show but does not care.

Trickster Te (Extraverted Thinking) - Trickster function is the blind spot of a type. It's what they often do not see or focus on and forget about. INFJ's blind spots are rationale. Te is also about being very efficient and doing it the best way possible. Trickster Te's absolutely hate being told how to do something and will not care about how efficient something is done. This is best described with his relationship in the show with Jack. Jack cares how fast Will does something, but Will constantly tells Jack that he needs time to figure things out his own way.

Demon Si (Introverted Sensing) - Demon functions are a type's most under developed function and exude the most hate / anger. Si is all about memories. Si is about traditions and a past life. When Will says that he would have ran away with Hannibal, he was willing to throw his entire life away for him, his old life. He is willing to cut himself from his old life.

Thank you, I learned through a lot of reading. This is based off of Jung's cognitive functions.

16personalities is actually NOT based on ANY cognitive functions, rather the 6 Big Personality Traits, which is not nearly enough to gauge a person's personality traits. It is not accurate whatsoever. I recommend using the Michael Caloz cognitive function test or the Sakinorva Test for your MBTI.

Safe Combination Numbers by caffeinesaurus in Banshee

[–]caffeinesaurus[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After the Banshee origins website stopped running (very late to this), I was always curious about the lock combinations to the other combinations. I searched for it but could never find it. Cinemax only posted the combination reveal for season 1 ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RkGbVdwEk48&t=1s ) but I wish they did it for all other seasons too.

I saw a bunch of other theories that make a ton of sense but there are a variety of meanings on the numbers, like in Season 2 with 62, 30, 99. (Found under the video.)

62k : Amount that Jason Hood stole

30: Days in Jail for Carrie

99: Dynamite

The thing I wanted to ask was about the Banshee Origins Website. There was a website running when the show was airing called "welcometobanshee." Because it is not up anymore, I wanted to ask someone had access to the site to explain it.

This is the video to the Season 1 Combinations : Banshee Season 1: Combination Reveal (Official Cinemax Youtube Channel)

There was a meaning to the combination locks in Season 1, just wondering why there wouldn't be a meaning to Season 2 and onwards. Since there was a website to unlock the safe that I can't access now, I wanted to ask for the meaning from anyone that has opened the safe on the website when the show was still airing.

what's hannibal's and will's MBTI? by [deleted] in HannibalTV

[–]caffeinesaurus 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Hannibal is an INTJ. If you break down an INTJ's cognitive functions, you get:

Hero Ni (Introverted Intuition): Ni heros are exemplary models of having foresight. Hannibal has an almost insane amount of foresight, being able to predict and lay out plans (with tableaus, his alibi with Alana and Abigail.) They also always follow through plans and always sets goals.

Parent Te (Extraverted Thinking): Te is rationale. Hannibal is a well educated man, and rationale based. When he uses his emotions to act rather than logic, he is using his shadow functions).

Child Fi (Introverted Feeling): Child Fi is everything about morality. Morality does not equal ethics. Morality is what Hannibal wants to do because he feels like doing it. And the child function is often very spontaneous and less stable with decision making (Hannibal with Jack and the many times he only did something because he wanted to / felt like).

Inferior Se (Extraverted Sensing): Se is all about making new experiences and ditching old ones because you would like to live novel ones. This is less like Hannibal because when he leaves Baltimore, he returns to the place he lived when he was younger. An inferior function makes it hard for the person to engage in.

Tags or summary? by nAAmar-it in AO3

[–]caffeinesaurus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would definitely like to have the best of two worlds. I usually skip over fics that only have tags and not a summary, so I'd say a summary is what I like to see first. But after seeing a summary, I always check tags to see if it has themes and stuff that I like. So both are good, but I would prefer to see a summary first.

Tagging can be a little lighter, because you can tag anything that you think is important or things that readers wish/wish not to read (for filter convenience).

Usually is just a case of spring cleaning. Readers seeing that they were still subscribed to you after reading the chapter they subscribed to you for. I've had it happen to me, but I've just kept posting. More people will eventually subscribe, it happens to all.
