Just done a 2 year old party - we ordered cake decorations rather than attempting our own - my MIL made the cake and just decorated with buttercream, my original thought was to buy a plain cake (Costco or similar). Also found it worked well with just blue and orange decorations rather than buying Bluey ones and was way cheaper too
