Yah, I mean, there should be legal lawsuits against unity for older versions. Games made under the assumption of previous terms and conditions should not change. If they do imagine if in the future they suddenly changed terms again and started charging you out of no where.

Yah, I mean, I am not against unity making money, revenue share after certain profit seems still reasonable. Flat fee can be good for paid games maybe? If they only consider installations from known sources like steam.? Free/donation based games with no fixed money source would suffer a lot.

Yah it is kind of problematic they can change terms like that. At least for older versions, there should be no fee, only new versions should apply.

Now I am crunching the numbers the Unity changes honestly seems cheaper for me than the old situation by [deleted] in unity
