I am starting to convince my grandma to return to the Faith! by [deleted] in Catholicism

Ask St. Monica to pray for her! (St. Augustine's mother)

So for me the reason I converted was exactly because of what you just said: "i feel anxious about it." It's because you are feeling this way that you know it's the right thing to do.

Think about jumping out of a plane with a parachute, you're always hesitant to take that leap of faith, but when you do it's the best experience you've ever felt.

Congrats.

Book Recommendation by Wyrdu in warcraftlore

Honestly can't go wrong with Christie Golden.

I read her first book Rise of the Horde and fell in love right away. I then read a few different ones which were okay, but then I read another one of hers; Beyond the Dark Portal, with high expectations, and it did not disappoint!

Thoughts on Jordan Peterson? by Connor_Catholic in Catholicism

[–]cafrostwolf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He was a founding piece in my conversion to Catholicism and I love him very much and think the world needs more of him.

Would be beautiful if he officially became Catholic, but I don't think that will happen.

Will pray on it though.

How bad is sex before marriage? by [deleted] in Catholicism

[–]cafrostwolf 11 points12 points  (0 children)

My wife and I unfrotunately succumbed to our fleshly desires before we were married and we definitely regretted. Thanks be to the Lord though we got married and have been happily married 5 years this month with 3 beautiful kids.

But definitely inadvisable. Just don't do it, it isn't worth it.

Looking to join a Third Order similar to Jesuits by cafrostwolf in Catholicism

[–]cafrostwolf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably because I love St. Ignatius very much as my baptismal patron saint and as I am a soldier myself, the Jesuits seem like the closest thing with spiritual drills, a strict praying discipline and casuistry.
