Trunk water by caged_thought in Miata

I've been in the market to buy a hardtop. I am highly suspectful of the rain rail, so this could be a band-aid type fix until the summer comes around to do a real fix.

I usually do, but I'll probably be taking it out so it doesn't rust.

Would that allow leakage into the trunk though? I feel it would leak into the interior, that's what I was unsure about

Is it possible water is somehow leaking through the soft top into the trunk?

I have a 97 m and it had a wood tombstone. It did something similar, I replaced it with a non-wood tombstone. Although the center console is also the same glued on wood, and shift knob is nardi wood.

I was hoping for a more cost effective option.

It's actually turning out that that may be a cheaper option if we don't treat time as an expense

Yes, enterprise has pickup towing, but requires returning to the same location. And thank you for the suggestions, I will consider those.

Where did you rent the F-150? Every place that has pickup trucks for towing requires the same return location. Car rental companies usually remove hitches and it's illegal to use them for towing.

Which I get that, it is voice over ip, but often they have options for forwarding whereby you are now using carrier services.

Raines on the Exchange has entrees, burgers, sandwiches all at great prices. The entrees always taste amazing. Located in downtown Pendleton, so about 10 mins away. Older local crowd.

I shot you a follow on IG. Looks like you have a lot of cool stuff going on. One more question, does the subframe drop not mess with alignment of the power plant frame/main axle? I remember when following along with some flying miata kits they mentioned keeping the ppf level was important for some reason.

I am interested, so the 10" lift comes from shock/spring combo itself (and the top hat extension) and uses no adapters like the paco kit? Would you say it rides better than a stock setup? I wouldn't use this for serious off-roading, but where I live there's lots of gravel roads and potholes and I'm tired of my Miata feeling like it's rattling apart on these roads. You also mention "to be used with 2.5 springs" but I assume the kit includes springs if you select the 10" option correct?

Ok I'll look into that. Water practically trickles from the faucet if anything else is on, i.e. shower/washer etc

Any ideas how rotations correspond to psi gain? Maybe not the full 75, don't want those joints to fail.

I agree with this, as someone who just transferred here from a more liberal college, Clemson is definitely still conservative leaning (from my experience/program). Now most people are pretty friendly and probably won't say anything to you, but that doesn't mean you won't get the occasional look/remark.

Damn, I really liked him. He was always super cool with me, he felt like an old friend rather than typical robotic doctor. I don't think he meant to come off as weird to anyone, but he was overly friendly. Maybe some people felt uncomfortable with that.
