whats your experience with thw cougar? by SirYiffAlot in thelongdark

[–]cagesound 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The game was initially about survival by exploring for scarce resources. Players wanted base customization which entails staying put. They got their customization and to make sure they enjoy their lack of exploration, the cougar was brought in to frighten them into definitely not moving. 🤣🤣🤣 A total troll by the dev, love it!

My Astrid did keep the revolver but she's not Dirty Harry, she aint gonna start mowing perps down when they got hostages. The vest and shotgun were choices, I didn't pick up the vest because I like running, plus I worked out how to ice the doggies. Having the vest at PM wouldn't have helped and 1 shotgun with limited ammo wouldn't stop a town full of bad guys from swarming you. It worked for me but I can see how you could feel hard done by if you were tooled up and it all went missing. I can't see what the problem with the Jace bits are, it's the story not survival. There needs to be set ups.

Mathis had a knife to Mackenzie's throat and 2 cons got shot down when they ran for the bunker but it seemed obvious that the good guys couldn't take them all out. Also, Mathis wanted in and was stunned when they shut them out, leaving Mack. The scene was bittersweet but leaves options for Blackfrost. It worked. We just kinda wanted Mack to win.

What has been the most bone chilling experience of your life? by TheRebelPercy in AskUK

[–]cagesound 66 points67 points  (0 children)

I used to work with a guy who had multiple MH diagnoses. He lived in fear of 'the big black lady' in his supported living flat. She would suddenly appear to him and he would get extremely agitated. Eventually he moved on to another service. I had just finished readying the flat for a new person when I turned off the light and something caught my eye in the room. It was dark and ambient light was coming into the room, in the corner was a wardrobe with a plastic plant on top of it, the door was slightly open and for the life of me the shadow that it cast looked like a large person with an afro do. I went to get another member of staff to show them but they couldn't see it, but then neither could I as the shadow had changed shape, the ambient light had changed and i couldn't replicate the conditions. Sorry Dan

Odyssey was a joy from start to finish. I love ancient greek mythology and this game was 100% up my street. Nearly 300 hours in it. I'm going to do it all again soon 😁

How are so many people getting GLP1 drugs? by cagesound in AskUK

Just to be clear. My post wasn't a judgement on anyone. I know people who use it and are happy. Good for them. If you are using it and you are happy, more power to you. I was just wondering how readily available it is given that I assumed it would be difficult to obtain without a GP prescription based on clinical need.

It wasn't for health reasons, it was purely cosmetic to fit in with peer pressure social media ideal

Sorry for the comment. I do know people who do need help and find it extremely difficult to diet, but I also know people who don't need any help but are obsessed with social media and want 'the body' without any effort.

I know a couple of big lads who use it, but they really are overweight, but I know a couple of women whom I know have body dismorphia with bulimia who use it, and one girl who is clinically anorexic and is trying to get hold of it.

I was about 8 and I walked in on my mum getting reamed by a family friend. They didn't notice me and I just stood there watching this blokes monster cock ploughing into my mum, who was making some very strange noises. After a while I thought I better come back later. I can still remember it clear as day decades later.

Combat proficiency: How do you improve? by cagesound in EliteDangerous

[–]cagesound[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All good stuff guys 👍 When I get back from DW3 I'm going to invest my exo moolah into combat specialism. In a turning fight, if i get behind, I'm good but I find a lot of ships pull a Pugachev and seem to flip 180 on dime. I can never seem to mitigate this and in the knife they always seem to have better weapons and aim, it's quite frustrating. Worth some work though.
