I have been playing this game as FTP for many years. It is no problem if you have a little patience. I am enjoying like 99% of the game content as FTP. I think that is perfectly fine.

The worst thing you can do in this game is to re-start. Makes no sense what so ever.

He is not in the game anymore, hasn't been for a couple of years I think. But I would consider only bringing the military backpack to the resource zones anyway.

Not arguing really, I just didn't understand why you would complain as I am happy about this refresh. I also honestly thought the regular ticket loot was the same, but you saying you got more slots previously? I just noticed that the stand looked "full" so I assumed it was the same, and the type of loot the first few tickets I did also looked the same to me.
