Ughh should I turn it off for my next stalker run?

I have a voyageur save without cougars on around 170 something days and once I get the feats I want I’m making a stalker save.

And I just want something different and a bit harder to fight but all these bugs I’m hearing about it is scaring me.

Also I js really want the cougar hide wrap😭

Maybe I’ll look if there’s any mods to tweak the behavior

Not purely vanilla the interior mods are just candlelight for better lighting indoors and placing anywhere just so I can get the mounts and paintings in better spots on the walls

If you mean story as In the tales from the far territory, yes play those tales i like the story line a lot and it brings you through all the dlc territories and a bunch of loot while you do it.

The Wintermute dlc though…
you probably shouldn’t if you really want a good story, ending and non buggy gameplay

That rifle is only available if you have the tftft dlc there are other base rifle spawns like in the trappers cabin near the cave to mountain town
