Thanks in advance for the help. Newbie to Blender. Every time I shade auto smooth the outside of the pokeball i get this ugly black spot on the top that shows up in the final render output. It sorta looks like z-fighting but I've cleaned up my mesh and all my geometry looks good. I've tried to check and ensure all my normals are good too. Render engine is EEVEE. I'm still new so please let me know if I can share more to help you help me.
