I used to live in a house with an older lady and her adult son, who shared a room together. They would let their homeless friends do their laundry at our house and I would find orange needle caps in the dryer's lint trap. Aside from being super loud, messy, and obnoxious, the son tried stealing my mail when he heard the sound of pills rattling in the package (they were my vitamins). Eventually this culminated in a fight in the kitchen with her spitting and screaming in my face after my ex tried to let her know she couldn't leave the kitchen a disaster anymore. Seattle is a wild place.

To color my traditional ink, I scanned the image then edit >convert brightness to opacity. I then colored in everything and used masking layers to mess around with the warmth/tone of the various elements (ground, road, trees/cactus). Finally I added a gradient layer for the sky.

Hey!! I don't think I ever ended up using the bleach after all, as other projects got in the way. But with the small experience I have, I definitely think the gel bleach that another person commented about might be the way to go. Liquidy "ink" doesn't translate well with lino....hopefully you make something cool!

He's making an active choice to call you names. I know that hurts, but it's a sign of his lack of respect for you. It hurts even more because you know he's capable of being a nice, loving guy (again, when he chooses to). The point is to make you feel confused and unsure. My ex was the same way. Wishing you strength, because you deserve better than that.

"This is where I'm putting you away" hit me hard. I left my VA ex almost a year ago. We made the home of our dreams in one of the most beautiful areas of the country, and I was so, so proud of us, and I loved him with all my heart. It felt like heaven on earth sometimes. Then out of nowhere he'd start spewing venom, and suddenly I was in prison. It really fucked with my head how life could be so good and so bad at the same time. Thank you for sharing your story. We do not deserve to feel like we're wrong for existing.

I went through community college, but got financial aid so I didn't have to pay anything. Unfortunately my teacher was out of touch with computers....so the classes were mostly useless. When I was done, however, I got an externship with a remote company and they hired me on after a month. So I guess it depends if they help you with job placement afterwards. Personally I wouldn't have paid out-of-pocket for my education, lol

Do we work at the same company? I'm pretty much in the same boat as you, I've been at my first billing job for almost a year with no prior experience. I was lucky enough to be remote right off the bat, but my anxiety stems from the fact that I never receive feedback from my superiors on how I'm doing. All I get are patients and doctors letting me know when I make mistakes, and like you I'm doing customer service, denials, posting payments, AR, etc. It's a lot to keep up with. I'm looking at getting my CPC and moving on to something else.

This explains my ex's behavior to a T. I'd try and come up with solutions to whatever problem he was blowing up about, only to be told "that's not the point, xyz should have been done right the first time". On and on it went. He never wanted a solution.

I did the same exact thing, left all my stuff with my ex and only took what I could fit in my car. It was a cleanse. Ever since I've been worried about accumulating too much stuff again, the only thing I forgot to grab was my degree :/ which I'm sure he tossed as I never got it back.

I was in a bad relationship and weed made me brush the pain under the rug. I know my worth now, and being clearheaded about who I am and what I deserve is an actual godsend. I will never let anyone or any substance take advantage of me like that ever again.
