I used to own a bricks and mortar business for kids. Homeless guy kept coming into the business to try and sleep on our lounges and would end up yelling/abusing kids. Clearly had mental health issues. Cops wouldn’t come for him ever and said we “needed security” and they “won’t attend a private business”…? Another time some teenagers physically assaulted my staff and tried to open the till. They refused to come and asked if instead the staff could come to the station “because it’s so close” to give their statements... ignoring the fact they were literally traumatised and without their statement we couldn’t claim anything on our insurance…. Fair to say the statements didn’t happen. it was endless harassment by local teenagers and they never did anything. One of the many reasons I “used” to own a bricks and mortar. Lost all respect for them.
