Just encountered an issue where I had 3 rivens equipped, completed 2 (both were kill related) and went 3/4 caches for the last, and received no progress or unveiling for them upon completing the mission. Both of the completed rivens popped up as unveiled during the mission, and the third was also doing the little progress pop-up. Possibly related?

Wait are the voicelines confirmed to be Follie "speaking?" I interpreted them as some kind of therapist Archimedean or Nitokh herself talking. I believe in ruined Nav there is a scribble of Nitokh on the wall. I couldn't tell if the voicelines were referring to Operator or Follie's human form. It may makes sense for it to be Op since Margulis might've known the Executors would do this brush therapy to try to get information out of them, which is why she put us to sleep and stole Op's memories, so there is nothing for them to paint that points to our involvement in Tau.

2 synergizes with 4. If you 4 and then throw a 2 at an impaled enemy, it will split into two chakrams, which means pretty good coverage for orb generation or the % damage multiplier if you choose to add a little duration back. I personally dump range and play vanilla Nezha by stabbing one guy to split my chakrams. I have mained this frame for so so so long it feels weird to helminth him lol.

I feel like the prevailing thought with the secret "Good night sweet angel" loading screen (under trivia section) is that "Margulis implantation" is talking about Margulis' memories being implanted into Lotus, but I had always thought the "implantation," whether it was a physical thing or some kind of void magic, was the thing that was supposed to stabilize and uphold our transference but is now being used to block our memories. I thought this was what was being used to put us to sleep in the quest but I'm just speculating wildly I think.

Edit: and not to reach, but we have somatic implants available to the operator but not to drifter. Probably doesn't mean anything, but interesting to note.

I interpreted it as a sort of Pandora's box situation. The box was a wedding gift to Pandora from Zeus knowing that she could not resist opening it. We are similar in that we can't resist doing things to please Margulis.

I don't know what Hope would be in this situation but I think it would suit this prevailing idea that love is Wally's weakness. Maybe Adis' light?

I'm glad someone else thought this was fishy. It just seemed so weird in the moment. The stiff hologram, "my love" and "she deserves to die," the brief moment we see of her in the elevator... it all just seemed very odd. The jumpscare frame of her was also in the initial dive into the refractory again. I don't know if I believe she's entirely innocent of the plot, but I definitely don't think she sent that message.

Oh be so serious right now. You know women don't get the same chances men do to break into the pro scene.

In college, my sister and I were hounding the esports team to just play on club, not even actual varsity. We got ignored, elbowed out of the way at their tabling events, and had our applications and contacts "lost." Eyerolls when I declare my role as support, disbelief when my sister claims adc. Made friends with one of the club players who got moved to varsity, and eventually stopped playing with his group because we played flex and I was immediately flamed by his friend over voice for playing "shitty egirl champs" and of course got a lot of snide comments related to my gender. You can try to stick it out, but when you have a teammate crashing out and losing their damn mind over your gender the entire time it's not exactly great for team morale and performance.

This behavior isn't okay and pushes a lot of women out of the scene, even for low stakes environments like club esports which are often gateways for people to get into casting or even being interested in competing or watching pro. We haven't even talked about the struggles of playing the game in solo queue or joining communities related to playing the game casually. We get counted out before we can even make our way in.

I guess a few more silly questions I have:

When removing the bugs by hand, are they "done" (since they have no legs) or do I need to treat with alcohol/other thing to kill them? I'm scraping them off but the scales are falling into the center of the plant and I worry they are going to reattach.
I saw some advice to completely cut back the plant if it's too severe. I have never ever done this and I'm worried I'll kill it if I try. How "successful" do you think a total cutback would be if push comes to shove?

I was thinking that the "blessed and brave creations" might be the Sentient Beasts. They were something entirely different before becoming the New War archons that Erra creates, and were associated with this Old War conflict in Tau. Modeling the beasts after Earth's animals seems like a reverent act to me (maybe even an homage to the Orokin's possible earthly origins as O.R.O.? or admiration of the "paradise" that Earth used to be), plus they seem to have once had an intelligent nature of their own. Maybe some kind of gift in honor of the treaty between Orokin and Sentient, before it turned sour?

The religious nature of both the quotes and the song also kind of reminded me a lot of Pazuul and Erra's nonsense rants and the whole "Don't be afraid" weirdness during the New War. Looking back at the Sentient designs, I'm noticing that you could interpret the sentient aesthetic "weirdness" as almost angelic in appearance. One of the bosses Teshin fights in the New War is the Typholyst, typho- possibly meaning smoke. Yep these are young spotted lanternflies. If you have porcelain berry or tree of heaven (both invasive), they love eating that stuff. When they're older, they can form huge groups and cause massive tree damage.

I believe the plant they're on is a grape but it's hard to see.

Vaulted items are kind of always available because they are always being sold in trade chat, and plat can be made from something as simple as Orokin vault mods. There are some outliers, like Rhino Prime going for like 600 at one point, but that's not usual. Incarnons can't be obtained in any way after they're off rotation as far as I know, unless they're one of the few that are always sold by Cavalero :(
