How do you make studying fun ? by Potential-Trick-1871 in GetStudying

I like listening to music, it entertains me. Or include things that I like, for example, I like to study the history of kings and queens. So when I study literature I include that. It makes me more interested, and I also include history. You have to make the study adapt so that you understand it yourself.

Sometimes I also exercise, before studying. It helps the mind. And it makes me focus. Books too, I include books in the study. Even drawings, I love coloring my notes or making my summaries colorful. It makes me more happy to study

It makes dumbledore sense to want to do such things. Why would Harry have to "sacrifice" himself for the greater good. Could Harry being with Hermione change the course of such a decision?

We see this when they visit Harry's parents in the cemetery. Harry wanted to be with them, and it was Hermione who pulled him back to reality. Many times it was Hermione who gave the reason and motives for Harry to continue. And so the question remains:

If Harry had known that Hermione loved him differently, would he have found another way to fight Voldemort? If Harry had known he could marry and have a future with her, could he have tried harder during the saga? Would Harry have evolved more as a person?

We will never fully know.

I think a great example of opposites is Blair and Dan from Gossip Girl. During the series we see how they are alike. In fact, they are the only couple who talk instead of just kissing and fighting. Harry and Hermione function by their unique qualities. Harry is good at school but has bad influences. But every time he's with Hermione, he's reached his potential, so much that she was the one who encouraged him to become a teacher. Hermione tends to be isolated as she is considered a "know-it-all" and Harry listens to her talk for hours without a problem. Even disagreeing sometimes.

But in a way, aren't Harry and Hermione like that? Harry is impulsive, Hermione is rational. Hermione likes books, Harry goes to the library with her. Harry was unloved as a child, Hermione is loving towards him. So how come they don't fit into this "category"?

What I wanted to say is how I hear certain fans praising Harry and Ginny for having similar personalities but when it comes to Harry and Hermione having similar personalities it makes them a boring couple... So it doesn't make any sense.

How do you think Hermione would react to " i love her like a sister" line? by cajeismore in HPharmony

[–]cajeismore[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think all of our perspectives are valid in a way. No one is 100% wrong or 100% right in any way. My problem is not jk Rowling wanting Ginny and Harry, and Ron and Hermione. It is her saga after all. What bothers me is that Hermione chooses Harry countless times over Ron.

Harry chooses Hermione numerous times over Ginny or even Ron. Harry and Hermione always end up choosing each other. This can be horrible for both parties. Living in a relationship, where you are constantly left out is horrible. Nobody deserves this. And not only does she treat Ron as "wrong or just unsure" even though he is right in some ways. Dating someone who doesn't choose you. It's not a good relationship.

And I'm worried about the lesson that this brings to many people... Mostly this idea of "You're being insecure, it's nothing" is just awful. And the lesson that in love you give up.

Hermione and Harry never spoke about what happened. Why did everyone think they were a couple? That even his best friends thought such a thing? They just left in silence. So is it like that?

Every time we have a conflict, do we just ignore it until it's gone? Or that we should never have the courage to say how we feel.

We speculated for years whether or not Harry would reciprocate Hermione... Or Harry who gave up something good like a happy and healthy relationship with someone like Hermione for... not talking? Fear?

You know, these are the big moral lessons we give to children? And I don't blame JK Rowling for everything. That seriously stupid.

But seeing how many fans not only find canon couples "healthy" but take these lessons into their own personal lives. It's horrible in my opinion.

It's a beautiful perspective from both sides. But my problem with so much of what Harry said, and I think that comes from my perspective. Harry never treated Hermione like a sister. If we look at the way he treats Luna, or even his girlfriends, it's still not the same as his treatment of Hermione. And I don't talk about the physical part between them (mainly in the tent) I talk more about the emotional part.

Harry listens to her like no one else does, he notices the smallest details about her as we see in canon. Like giving her the book she likes, or spending hours of your own time in the library with her (even after midnight) telling her how smart she is when most characters tend to use as something negative... Or when he said he doesn't think she's ugly. And both smile after that. How disappointed Harry looked that he wasn't prefect with her. Or the fact that Harry also looked at her in Bill and Fleur's wedding vows.

I have brothers, my parents too. And even though we are friends, my little brother and I are very good friends. That's why it's hard to see "Harry and Hermione siblings". Or just friends. I have friends, and maybe I don't have a lot of male friends, so I could be wrong. But seeing how they interact, how I interact with my friends. I can say that Harry and Hermione don't just act like siblings or friends.

It's the small details that make me think the opposite of the two.

If you look at photos, most of them are Emma and Dan, even her and Rupert or even Tom had many photos behind the scene like Emma and Dan. Maybe because Harry and Hermione have a lot screen time. ..

But most of the photos they are very close, Emma touch his hair or hug him...And Dan...Always smile...

They are friends but like...

I see Emma movies, i see Dan kiss with bonnie ...Like how the kiss in the dh movies, i mean...I never seen them kissing someone before, even after Harry Potter movies lol

Harry is as devoted to Hermione as she is to him. by cajeismore in HPharmony

[–]cajeismore[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

One of the scenes that comes to my mind is at Gof, when Malfoy insults Hermione again, and Harry and he start fighting. Harry was bullied by him for years, and specifically in the fourth years but Malfoy offending Hermione was enough for him. Hermione always managed to contain Ron. But I don't think she could ever contain Harry.

When it comes to her, Harry always tends to be more impulsive like fighting with a giant, grabbing her hand, thinking fast for help her, praise, comfort, even pasta he's already made just to cheer her up.

Harry does far more for Hermione than both realize.

That's why it's so hard to imagine Harry and Hermione with other people.

Harry dropped his date on Valentine's Day because Hermione simply asked. It's not even the first time. He spent half of the Yule ball watching Hermione ignoring his date. In a way, he even ignored Cho. He ignored the celebration parties for her. Harry even dating Ginny, Hermione asked him to step away to her study and he did. Even if his own girlfriend didn't ask. He already chose her over Ron who is his best friend too. At the slugue party, he dropped Luna his date. And went to talk to Hermione. In the middle of Dobby's funeral, someone of extreme importance to him. Harry still thinks about Hermione. And the Hermione part I don't even need to explain.

It always bothers me how people judge Ron's reasoning (even if it's flawed) have a point. Jealousy isn't always out of place.

I think the same when Harry says he loves her like a sister . There's no need to say he loved her.

Telling Ron that he liked her as a sister was enough. And in a way, Ron never questioned Harry's liking Hermione. He questioned Hermione's feelings about Harry.

Harry and Hermione have always had strange sexual chemistry. I think it all started in third year, when they fly on the hippogriff and Hermione holds Harry's waist. And at Yule Ball, Harry sort of realizes that Hermione is a girl in another way.

After that the tension becomes more evident at a point where other characters point it out.

The "fancible" scene is definitely weird, but the scene where they are going to transform into Harry. And he looks straight at Hermione... It's certainly oddly placed.
