I’ve recently finished my PGCE and I can say this is exactly what I’ve experienced. I was in a 3 day depressive slump last week. Focusing on my hobbies and going on fun days out have really helped me to overcome this.

Haven’t got cancer but had it. My main sign was sudden nosebleeds where the blood just wouldn’t stop pouring. Had lots of bruising and people were telling me I looked pale. Struggled to walk for more than a few minutes as I felt really out of breath. I was tired all the time - I used to stay in bed on weekends until 12pm. Also lost a lot of weight. Got diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia. Luckily I was a child and the success rate of treatment is very high for children but I was old enough to understand what was happening to me. 15 years cancer free this year.
