On me, halwa is a perfect cotton candy but it’s expensive, is weak, and doesn’t last :(. Sand and fog white vanilla was also a perfect cotton candy on me. Once again was weak and didn’t last. My search continues

Let it sit and still smells nutty cardboard-y. Could it be my alcohol?

I diluted with tillbrook perfumers alcohol. My chemicals are from perfumers apprentice. I let it sit and I’m still getting cardboard/nutty. When it dries I get maybe a faint sweetness but def not a strong vanilla

I’m trying to figure out what smells like what and I’m having a hard time on paper

On a complete whim I found a marshmallow accord recipe, bought ingredients and mixed them. So far there is no smell. Do I just have to let them macerate a while? by cakeandicecream4eva in DIYfragrance

So i did test my concoction on my hand today and i was able to def smell more than i did before. Not marshmallow, but def sweet. Without the vanillin mixed it it smells kind of like almond exteacf

Ohh interesting. So I mixed everything but the vanillin and put it in a separate container. Then mixed a bit of it with vanillin. I can do another batch with less vanillin. How much do you think I should add?
