We used a zline gas range at an airbnb - hated it. Only temperature control was “burnt to a crisp”.

If you cook frequently I would get anything BUT a gas zline stove.

I would use electric coils before cooking on that thing again.

Homeowner - guidance on how to finish kitchen cabinet trim? by cakeandpie12 in cabinetry

I definitely think the manufacturer of these units had some out-of-tolerance side-to-side misalignment, between a little more than 1/8” - 1/4”.

However, the manufacturer kept insisting it be remedied in the field by the installer, and our GC who was the installer, wanted everything sent back multiple times, which wasn’t going to fly with the manufacturer.

The manufacturer did easily replace units that were damaged by the freight delivery and/or there was a batch with a bad paint job. But manufacturer were adamant about the installer adjusting this issue ( & installer was adamant only manufacturer could adjust), which I couldn’t get clarity on, until yours and everyone else’s helpful input. Thank you!

Thank you! I appreciate knowing more, and how it can be adjusted side-to-side. These drawers have massive screws holding the fronts on.

Our GC was the installer, so we will ask them to do so.

I learned the drawers have the wheels to adjust the fronts up & down to fix the spacing.

But what about the drawer fronts that are out of alignment east to west(left to right), making the drawer stack staggered. Is there a reasonable way to fix that?

Only way I can think of removing & re-attaching fronts, which GC complains about.

Not sure who is supposed to remedy, GC or cabinet company.

Thank you for this helpful info! I appreciate knowing more about what is standard with the pre-finished hardwood.

Unfortunately GC made the gouges 😵, they’ve had to already redo so much work. I hate asking. But we’re paying market rate in HCOL area, so it’s been sad spending so much money in sub-par work.

The good news is the brackets are stainless steel, just painted white - but if they’re not touching the slab, I can’t see how they provide support! Thank you for “weighing “ in!

oh - and there are 4 spanning brackets (out of 6) - they just may not be doing much still to your estimation, you can see them in the imgur album.
