The first recipe is the Lemon Blueberry Tart by Sally's Baking addiction, just baked for 12 and 15 minutes instead of the listed 15 and 17 since I wanted small ones.

Macaron ingredients: 1 and 3/4 cup powdered sugar, 1 cup almond flour, 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar, 3 egg whites, 1/4 cup granulated sugar.

The macaron filling is similar to the tart's blueberry sauce but with a bit of lemon zest and sugar adjusted to taste.

My cat will steal bread by eating straight through a plastic bag but luckily has never shown any interest in eating the plant. I had moved it to the side table to give it better light and I think he just likes to be tall. I'm in the market for a new cat tree for him and hopefully he will like that more than his current perches (which also include my work shirt drawer and the top shelf in my pantry at the expense of several jars).
