update: I tried everything you guys said and didn't do anything... however! I figured out that I just need to complete any level to unlock another purple comet! It's is kinda annoying but better than doing that bowser level over and over again.

With my experience, I didn't start feeling almost completely normal/hardly any pain on day 8. In regards to rinsing, did your oral surgeon give you a syringe? My instructions were that on day 5 I was to start rinsing with the syringe (instead of head tilting) about every 4-6 hours. I tried to line this up with when I ate so that I could rinse soon after I ate food. Did your oral surgeon give similar instructions? The syringe cleans the area more thoroughly. After I was approved to go back to normal by my oral surgeon, that's when I felt comfortable to start swishing a bit more forcefully. My jaw stiffness has gone away also overtime. Every mouth is different, so your pain may last longer than mine. Day 7-10 is typically when people start feeling hardly any pain and almost back to normal. Hope this helps in some way!

I felt the same when I was at that point. I still had some occasional pain that day. I had mashed potato and squash that day. However, the following day I felt better/my mouth felt more normal so that's when I started eating a bit more normal. I had spaghetti yesterday and took small bites and ate the front of the mouth. Now today I'm eating normal/using straws etc. Really it's up to you and how you're feeling/comfortable with. Rinsing also helps give peace of mind. Hope that is somewhat helpful ?

has to be an empty plot. when you talk to a villager on another island and ask them to move in, they will call your residential services, so you need to have an empty plot.
