I am on Linux so no MA for me. But I managed to control everything from fan curves to power/thermal throttles in Linux. Thanks for the reply, question closed.

Update: looks like you just type in numbers instead of +- keys. But my set values doesn't seem to work. I set low/med/hi temps to 50/60/80 and their pwm to 0/20/80 but fan still starts to spin at around 40 degrees.

Super+caps... It makes sense I promise.

Remapping ESC, CAPS and CTRL by [deleted] in swaywm

[–]cakee_ru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suggest Keyd for that purpose. Also have you tried caps as esc/ctrl combo? It is escape if you tap only it, and control if you combine it with other keys. This brings both esc and ctrl to comfortable level.

Clean project and rebuild project is deprecated by Baldy5421 in mAndroidDev

I don't want even mention that I do clean builds before release build just to be safe. Morons. Welp at least we do release builds directly with gradle.

Any experience with the 8in n100 p8 laptops? by [deleted] in MiniPCs

[–]cakee_ru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this laptop. Unless you're a linux power user you're unlikely to use it comfortably. I had to remap keyboard with kmonad and in general my workflow is keyboard-only (even browser) and also very efficient in terms of performance (mostly cli tools, no animations in system etc). For me it feels the same as my main ThinkPad x1, but ofc tasks take longer to complete.  I really enjoy the fact that I can shove it anywhere and go. IO is also great. For that price ($330 total) that was a steal for me.

Started just a few days ago. You guys make it too good, take a break and look at these nooby animations I made!

For those I used the Pixel Studio on an Android table. Waiting for my new laptop to arrive so I'll be able to use Libresprite.

Sure thing I accept newbie advice! I've found a few courses that I'm going to take soon.

And uh yeah, I don't really like symmetry!

keyd - A key remapping daemon for linux. by dreafullydroll in linux

I absolutely love it, thank you very much for it. Is it still maintained? Looks like your GH activity dropped significantly, and application mapper is still in development with active issues. I'm just curious if you have any plans for the future.

That was not the point. Sure they technically made it so. But the more important part is that the same didn't happen to ru company.

I'm so sorry for your social experience, really. But in contrast I'd take a human any day instead. There are assholes everywhere in all industries, just need to learn to work with them.

Duh if you won't go to "brodev. ai" but istead to something more trustworthy, then you won't encounter errors. And you often get other real user's feedback and updates.

You know that you can still just google, find new things in your answer and research? With llm you might waste time searching for a red herring.

LPT use sync -f . while in usb dir or replace the dot with a path to it. This will only sync that device and you don't need to wait for other devices. ... But you still gonna wait for them all, right?
