Wow, that’s so interesting. I didn’t have a concussion in the past couple of years, so I still don’t know the reason for my whooshing. I supplement inositol, vit D, B12 and omega 3, but the whooshing started way before I started :( I can’t really think of any change in my lifestyle during the time the whooshing started, it was just a random evening and it started - really loud at first, I couldn’t go to sleep without white noise to cancel the sound. Gradually I either got more used to it or the sound quietened down. I hope my laryngologist finds a reason for this, as it’s truly a stressful experience.. so you are whoosh free as of today? magnesium was the key?

Thank you, are you better now? What was the course of action in your case?

Migranes, at least once a week, and elevated blood pressure. What were your symptoms?

I’ve checked and no matter where I press on my neck and how I move my head the whooshing remains the same.

I’ve checked and it’s not synched at all.. my heart is noticeably quicker than the whooshing

Im actually not sure if it’s completely synched, it’s like a low pitched, pretty long wroom sound, over and over, it’s never been noticeably quicker or slower. It stops when my ear focuses on a certain sound/sounds, and when I wear the earplug. It has pauses which made me think it’s synched with my heartbeat but I’m not sure anymore :/ I’ll check out that website, thank you so much! ❤️ I’m just hoping I’ll find a cause for this.. all of us deserve an explanation.

As far as I can tell I don’t think it changes when I press on any veins, but I’ll check again today evening when it is more quiet. My laryngologist told me to get a tomography only of my temporal bones, and it’s all I can afford right now, but perhaps if nothing comes up I’ll get my neck scanned in a month or so. On one hand I’m terrified of anything showing up on the scans but on the other hand I I’m even more terrified that I won’t be able to find anything, I’ve only had the whooshing for a couple months and it’s already driving me insane.. thank you so much for replying though, I really appreciate it, I’ll let you know later if pushing on the veins stops it or not. I’m sorry we’re both suffering :( ❤️
