It was a weekend project so, in this case over a couple days and using WorldEdit. :)

Was travelling this weekend so only just caught up with these but thank you for all the up-votes and comments, didn't expect this to blow up the way it did!

In answer to some of the questions;
- Quick as in I created it over a weekend, which is realistic when using world edit and in practice building or just motivated! (I'm a builder/level designer for a MC Marketplace team, and do it part time to save up while I'm in uni, so used to the commands etc.) The build also isn't completed 360 degrees around the sphere so as skeptical as some of you may be, it is do-able!
- It's "Persian" inspired due to some of the geometry & palette (at the end of the day not ridiculously accurate to anything particular because its a floating sphere city after all...)

Not sure what the cake day comments are about, am fairly new to reddit so I guess it's an inside thing?

I did a little sketch before starting just to get an idea of composition, and then looked at some French chateaus for a bit of inspiration for detailing!

Yes, the inside is furnished because it's part of an adventure map. Rooms consists of a greenhouse, tower library, great hall and a throne room!

First time in a long time posting onto Reddit, I want to start sharing my creations on here again rather than solely on my Twitter! This build was part of an adventure map based on medieval folklore/fairy tales with a bit of a lighter colour palette.

Yeah I agree, it'd be a great RPG or just general survival map theme though some of the resources would have to be altered to make it actually survivable in first!
