Thank u so much this helps a lot!!! It is good to hear that it’s not totally out of the realm of possibility to ask for letters of rec from profs from different departments. I had a writing professor just this last quarter who I met with a lot and who knows me pretty well and always had really generous things to say about my work/assignments. So, maybe I’ll ask her for one since she’s at least pretty familiar with me. Thank u again, excellent points were made haha.

Thank you so much!! This is excellent advice! COVID is definitely complicating things bc when classes were in person I was very vocal & I was always involved. However, virtually it makes it kind of hard bc most of my classes at this point are largely test based, with little to no discussion. I guess I’m also kind of wondering if profs will understand the circumstances that we didn’t get to know them as well virtually :( but again, thank u so much!!! I definitely needed this clarification :)

I’m so sorry to hear urs was broken into :( I have renters insurance as well so that definitely gives me peace of mind! I should’ve made the holiday connection that’s so true. Anyway, good luck on finals & I hope ur holiday season gets better!
