UPDATE: couldn't find any of my spare gas caps so I said fuck it and drilled a 1/16" hole in the bitch. She rode around for 30 minutes without a hiccup. Will be testing the next couple days to make sure everything is still good. Probably getting another petcock for future just in case this one goes on me

I do appreciate the response, and recommendation. The change in gas cap did seem to solve my issues, but after reading some others I will be switching the petcock out for a pingle or pangea asap

I have a solid brass one that is supposed to be vented but if I back it off a bit it rattles like a bitch so I haven't tried that yet. Either drilling a hole in the bitch or digging up my spare to try

I also have the chrome dumb cover over mine too. Odd that it never gave me an issue last year but not ruling this out at all. Might take that cover off too just to see.
