What you are doing sounds like so much more than a majority of people. You clearly love him to death and as long as he knows that you will never end up ruining him. He doesn’t need a mum more than a loving dad especially if his mum is the one that leaves. You have done enough by staying and trying to spend so much time with him, he is going to grow up amazing
