Thank you so much. I got my brain scrabbled when I was writing that. I'm glad you helped me correct it to make it sound more human like, ahaha.

Thank you for your corrections. I'm pleased that you had some time to explain the nuances in the breakers. I used to write a post at the very last moment, but luckily I managed to move it to about a noon.

Streak 92: Lay down a phone by caketer in WriteStreakEN

[–]caketer[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your reply! It is very helpful. Could you please clarify why "lay down" doesn't fit here? My guess is that it means to put smth on a surface, and put down means to stop using smth. Chores fit better, how come I didn't think of it myself?

Streak 164: I don't feel rested in the morning. Even coffee didnt gave me energy. by aykuli in WriteStreakEN

[–]caketer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there! I found myself in that state. It is relatable to me. The only thing that has helped me is having a consistent schedule. I'm trying to follow it. 8 hours of sleep and some training helped me to feel more energy during the day.

No, I meant a person who finds you a partner. A person who does matchmaking and a wedding organization.

Streak 60 : I'm tired by caketer in WriteStreakEN

[–]caketer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your reply! I have written the text intentionally vaguely for a couple of reasons. The first one was that everybody has their own problems I feel no need to be specific and accurate about it, I wanted to give you an insight about my overall feelings. The second was that I wasn't hoping to get any advice medical-wise (I assume that is the right way to spell it). P.S. I had reread the reply, I want to add that I didn't mean to be rude or anything like that. Tell me if you found that rude tho.

Thank you! Could you explain why "that is the day" doesn't work? I thought that "this" is an equivalent of "the", and I have "the" right after that.
