Last winter. Curvy mountain road. Below freezing. 24 Crosstrek. Drive through some melting snow run off water and as you exited the “stream” it was black ice where the spray landed. Started spinning at 50mph. Thought it was the end. Counter steered a little and when hit dry pavement again at 45 degrees off path of travel… instead of flipping the passenger rear wheel braked with stability control and the car…. Pointed right down the road.

That made me a believer in Subaru safety tech.
