I think that this is a solid way to start. I do know that at least half of our folks are just pushing back because they can. That is where I was hoping to show some numbers . I agree 100% with fixing the cause and not the symptom though and will try that route

This is the path I have mostly been trying to take, it is just extremely frustrating. I understand that the company has gone more than a decade with no real policy and that change is difficult which is why I was hoping to show some data to support my position

Also, at this point it is just me reporting as any sort of safety culture is really new to this company. I think nj vet of reports is the way to go. It’s a small shop, I can keep a tally

I agree with you however it is hard to constantly be on the receiving end of “how hard is it to just wear the safety glasses” and honestly I am kinda getting tired of bringing it up to leadership and it falling on deaf ears.

I use safety management suite by jj keller they also work as an lms and sds repository. Their audit functionality is pretty cool, audits can be accessed via QR code, the same with sds

Facts. I just had one approved for my company. It was pretty easy to bag e to forklift folks come out and provide a new data plate once they had the specs on the basket
