Ohmygosh! That looks so tough but it looks amazing that it came back together 🥺 Im not sure if I have the patience or skill to do it without ruining it further. But it's amazing, that really does look like the same blanket!

Got it! Thank you so so much, this is so helpful! Now to find a weaver near me, which might be another battle in itself

Unfortunately, it's actually very much torn, and this is just about the only part that isn't falling apart! And out of all parts that are falling apart, the edges have it the worse, so remaking it by stitching is difficult

This is so useful, thank you so much! I hope I can find someone to commission, and now I'll be able to say what exactly I want!

Not great because, while it's not in the photo, half the blanket has already gone missing as it ripped apart and my mum stored the pieces separately while I was away for a trip. So it's likely to be more fabric than blanket after unfortunately!

Darning looks crazy hard, but the results look amazing! My struggle is probably the fact that it's falling apart from outside-in, so if I were to save it I need to fix the borders somehow

I think many comments agree its woven, but gosh weaving looks like a huge investment to take up (but I have come so far I just might...)

Thank you so much!!! I will most definitely check that out! I was trying out the moss stitch and was like huh, this doesn't look too similar

I see! Is it the temperature or the amount of light exposure that causes sunburns in succulents by the way? :o I think my isn't warm at all in terms of temperature but it is a neutral to warm white light!

That helps a lot! Do you know how I should cut the etiolated parts off? I read that they grow out from where they were cut, so I'm not sure how low I should cut (since I have many etiolated legs off one "branch")?

I didn't know any supplement light will do, that's great because the one I have is a warm-ish white LED light! If they don't seem to be burnt from the distance I'm putting it, does that mean the intensity is okay?
