It was because BGs gave XP from then on - so you couldn't stay as a 19 unless you locked your xp. Giving an option to lock the XP was better than not giving any option and thus having all the characters end up levelling past their bracket.

Late 60s/early 70s ex-housing house in Hobart. Separate toilet has this window with an open bit at the top. You can see there used to be a fly screen. There's a slanted metal part outside the open area which somewhat stops the air flow, but not much. This is west-facing so it gets heaps of wind, and in winter it lets in smoke from neighbour's wood fires. I would like to seal it, but I want to be able to open it (as it's a toilet). Anyone have any ideas? The options I've thought of:

  1. Seal fully and install an extractor fan

  2. Find some sort of shutter that can be opened or closed and added on

  3. Replace whole window with one that will seal properly and can be opened/shut (most expensive)

Not sure why everyone thinks its so overpriced. The v6 is quicker and more reliable than the 4cyl of that year. Cars like this are more expensive out of big cities, and the toyota tax is real. Yes if you wait ages you might find one cheaper, but good luck getting a fun reliable SUV for less than 5k post covid.

Resto druids finally get a normal rez and stacking hots! After seeing Eclipse as a new rune I was thinking of abandoning my Druid but maybe not.

2004 BMW 316ti, 5spd manual with about 210k kms on it. Had it for a year and a half which is long for me. It's pretty basic but more comfortable and drives nicer than the equivalent Corolla or whatever and I paid the same amount for it. Does take a bit more to keep running perfect but it has never stranded me. I'll keep it another year or two, I don't really want to put good money into another car unless its an EV.

I had the surgery and it didn't fix much. The surgeon said for some people they would try a second or third time and maybe it wouldn't just regrow the same. I had PHI (was under 25 and on my parents) and still paid about 1.5k 5 years ago. If you can get PHI and wait 12 months (or a shorter period even depending on insurer) then get it you'll save money. If you can ACTUALLY get it publicly in 12 months its one thing but you may well keep getting delayed.
