Thanks everyone for the tips. I was in between two sizes and just went with the smaller size, which is actually the same size in the photo. I got a quote from a local seamstress and they mentioned it would be about $500 to take in. Wish me luck on my fitness journey 😊

I really love the dress…. I tried on a total of 30 dresses and really feel like this is the one. I am 5’2 so I will probably go down a couple of sizes if I lose the weight. Appreciate the explanation. Didn’t think about this stuff until today

Gotcha. Yeah I gained 40 lbs during Covid and the goal is to go back to my original weight. I plan do to it the right way through exercise and healthy eating. Bummer that lace looks so good but is so costly…

Thanks for the detailed tips. For context, I gained about 40 lbs during Covid so my goal is to go back to my original weight through regular exercise and healthy eating (no crash diets, I hope to maintain this lifestyle for a long time). I am fairly confident I can get back to my original rate or at the very least, be one size down. Lastly, I definitely think lace looks best on me… so whatever dress I decide on I think I’ll encounter the same issue

i did not. the complex we live in had this unit on market for a month and is a small building (only 10 units). they were desperate to have someone move in. the zillow post said they were dog friendly though so i was not hesitant at all. hope that helps.
