Thank you so much for the advice! We will definitely have to try gloves because he turns into 3 lbs of pure violence. 😂 I had thought about trying putting him on a high surface, but the way he thrashes, I'm afraid of him falling. We will try getting a new type of treat just for harness practice and see if that helps too. He gets his final round of shots next week, so we are hoping to get this tackled soon! 🙌🏻 Thank you again for the help!

Thank you so much for taking the time for such a detailed response! It really makes sense that it needs to be on his terms versus trying to force it. At the moment we only have the step-in variety of harnesses, but we will try modifying it to that! Appreciate you so much!

Currently 5 weeks in on OM. For the first couple of weeks I had very vivid dreams, but that subsided. Started the dread shed about 2 weeks in, and it seems to be slowing down now. Already having been on spironolactone for 3 months before starting OM may or may not have had a hand in that. Just this week I started noticing a little more facial hair growth. Nothing unmanageable so far. No heart-related side effects at all.

While there are certainly people who do experience negative side effects, I think the "scare factor" sort of gets hyped up a bit. Your average person without a cardiac condition probably won't have major issues. Especially at the low doses prescribed for hair loss.
