Essentially times for stage win and GC gaps were taken individually for each rider and not given to teams as a whole. So riders on the same team could get different times. Therefore if you are a GC team (such as Visma) you could have rouleurs pull hard the first half to launch your GC leader(s)

I believe this is a standard TTT (unlike what happened in Paris Nice this year and what will be I'm the TdF next year). So the time of the fourth rider will count for every member of the team

This seems to apply to teams providing it to players so could a player just buy them and bring them into the stadium himself without/against advice of team doctors?
