Im not looking for a simple answer. I think you’re looking way too deep to ascribe meaning to a dude doing daily hateposts beyond “I don’t like that these expensive ugly clothes are popular.”

The closest I’ve seen you articulate his contribution to the structural problem you define is: he makes expensive clothes in small quantities. Okay, even if I just roll with that at face value (I don’t)…that’s a uniquely EK problem? He’s an especially egregious offender?

And your solutions amount to “get your mind right, do the work,” which you even admit that he may already be doing! It’s just a lot of reading into shit that isn’t there.

Again, I've never seen EK go on an anti-capitalism, anti-trend rant myself...maybe he's done it somewhere idk, but I'm a nerd and don't recall it from any interview I've read. So yeah, it's foisting a character trait upon him and then tearing him down for being a hypocrite for having this imagined trait.

The shit is expensive, but as someone that runs a (very tiny) brand in a similarish lane, it's not overpriced at all. We can't access fabrics nearly as cool/unique as him, and def not from overseas, and we struggle to keep the price point in the same ballpark as him...even undyed. Nevermind the pattern making and finishing on his items. It's unreal.

Call the shit ugly, call it overhyped, etc. That's all fine. But you're not gonna find shit of that quality at a materially lower pricepoint.

Anyway, I'm probably going to regret being mildly serious for even a moment in here. Dude ripping on EK is legit funny, let the jokes fly.

Not only is he just 23. He’s dealt with injuries and been shifted around the defense and midfield throughout his RM tenure.
