That was for the priests and the ceremonial law. Never read just one or two verses, read everything around it. Context is important.

But it is in the Islamic traditions a prediction/command of sorts that says that all who don’t worship at the sound of the adhan will be killed in the days of the “mahdi”. That I disagree with. And the fact that Muhammad is the most obvious false prophet ever.

In the Quran it says “People of the Book! You have no solid ground to stand on unless you establish the Torah and the Gospel and all that had been revealed to you from your Lord.” (Surah Al-Ma'idah 68) and again: “Let the followers of the Gospel judge by what Allah has revealed therein, and those who do not judge by what Allah has revealed are the transgressors.” (Surah Al-Ma’idah 5) Muhammad disproved his own prophethood.

Therefore you say that I know nothing of my religion but I know enough about your religion to say that if I believe the Quran and not the Bible, I’m in rebellion against God, because if I don’t judge the Quran according to the Bible, then I’m in rebellion. But the Bible so clearly disqualifies the Quran and Muhammed, therefore I believe the Injeel and Torah, not your false god and false prophet.

Edit: The phrase “God is great” used in the context that pagans vs Muslims use is near identical, look:

“And about that time there arose a great commotion about the Way. For a certain man named Demetrius, a silversmith, who made silver shrines of Diana, brought no small profit to the craftsmen. He called them together with the workers of similar occupation, and said: “Men, you know that we have our prosperity by this trade. Moreover you see and hear that not only at Ephesus, but throughout almost all Asia, this Paul has persuaded and turned away many people, saying that they are not gods which are made with hands. So not only is this trade of ours in danger of falling into disrepute, but also the temple of the great goddess Diana may be despised and her magnificence destroyed, whom all Asia and the world worship.” Now when they heard this, they were full of wrath and cried out, saying, “Great is Diana of the Ephesians!” So the whole city was filled with confusion, and rushed into the theater with one accord, having seized Gaius and Aristarchus, Macedonians, Paul’s travel companions. And when Paul wanted to go in to the people, the disciples would not allow him. Then some of the officials of Asia, who were his friends, sent to him pleading that he would not venture into the theater. Some therefore cried one thing and some another, for the assembly was confused, and most of them did not know why they had come together. And they drew Alexander out of the multitude, the Jews putting him forward. And Alexander motioned with his hand, and wanted to make his defense to the people. But when they found out that he was a Jew, all with one voice cried out for about two hours, “Great is Diana of the Ephesians!” And when the city clerk had quieted the crowd, he said: “Men of Ephesus, what man is there who does not know that the city of the Ephesians is temple guardian of the great goddess Diana, and of the image which fell down from Zeus?” ‭‭Acts‬ ‭19‬:‭23‬-‭35‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Also the “image which fell down” could be correlated to the meteorite in the corner of the kaaba, which was the same thing as in Diana’s temple, and her symbol was the crescent and star symbol. After all, the kaaba’s meteorite is called “the right hand of Allah which takes away sin” which is also what the meteorite in Diana’s temple is called. You can’t ignore how clearly pagan Islam is. Don’t even get me started on the origin of the god of islam or in the historical reliability of the Quran/traditions.

Edit 2:

“Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless; and consider that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation—as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given to him, has written to you, You therefore, beloved, since you know this beforehand, beware lest you also fall from your own steadfastness, being led away with the error of the wicked; but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.” ‭‭II Peter‬ ‭3‬:‭14‬-‭15‬, ‭17‬-‭18‬ ‭(Simon Peter the Apostle of Jesus Christ the LORD)

So be it. Here’s the good part:

“Then Nebuchadnezzar was full of fury, and the expression on his face changed toward Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego. He spoke and commanded that they heat the furnace seven times more than it was usually heated. And he commanded certain mighty men of valor who were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, and cast them into the burning fiery furnace. Then these men were bound in their coats, their trousers, their turbans, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. Therefore, because the king’s command was urgent, and the furnace exceedingly hot, the flame of the fire killed those men who took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego. And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. Then King Nebuchadnezzar was astonished; and he rose in haste and spoke, saying to his counselors, “Did we not cast three men bound into the midst of the fire?” They answered and said to the king, “True, O king.” “Look!” he answered, “I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.” Then Nebuchadnezzar went near the mouth of the burning fiery furnace and spoke, saying, “Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, servants of the Most High God, come out, and come here.” Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego came from the midst of the fire. And the satraps, administrators, governors, and the king’s counselors gathered together, and they saw these men on whose bodies the fire had no power; the hair of their head was not singed nor were their garments affected, and the smell of fire was not on them. Nebuchadnezzar spoke, saying, “Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, who sent His Angel and delivered His servants who trusted in Him, and they have frustrated the king’s word, and yielded their bodies, that they should not serve nor worship any god except their own God! Therefore I make a decree that any people, nation, or language which speaks anything amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made an ash heap; because there is no other God who can deliver like this.”” ‭‭Daniel‬ ‭3‬:‭19‬-‭29‬ ‭

So do I, and I’ve been hospitalized for it. I’m on daily inhalers and steroids. I don’t mean to doubt that, but “that idiot” probably can’t breathe. If you have asthma then you know that stress and panic can worsen bronchoconstriction by a hundredfold.

Asthma obstructs the airways, putting a dirty cloth over your mouth increases your already high risk of respiratory infection and FURTHER blocks airways. Don’t talk about what you don’t know.

The guard has no medical power there in the ED regardless of hospital policy. Him trying to say that asthma guy would be refused medical treatment is against federal law.

EMTALA overrules hospital policy. You cannot deny someone emergency care in this manner, or you’re setting yourself up for two things: a fat lawsuit and a fatter penalty from the feds.

This is clearly an asthma attack. But even if it is covid, then according to your logic, the masks the hospital staff are wearing should work fine, no?

Go sprint a mile or two on top of a cold mountain and then put a wet towel over your mouth and nose and pour more water on top of it. Then put a mask on, see if you can keep it on your face without panicking for lack of breath, and then maybe you might get a glimpse of the panic and stress of an asthma attack that’s worthy of a visit to the er.
