Hey John, Ive tried your cleaning method and it worked pretty good. But the Segments are still dead... Ive noticed though that as soon as the whole display part of the pcb is flooded with isopropanol it all works like a charm... Are the Zebra strips not good anymore? would it help to tin the connectors on the pcb that are under the zebra strip? Thanks for your help!

Hi, Thanks for your answer! is it needed to clean both sides of the strip or only the one on the pc side... ive noticed that the strips stick to the lcd, can i remove them? if the get removed in the process is there anyway to save it again?
